On May 9, 2012 President Barack Obama announced that he was in support of gay marriage. One week later I noticed this stop sign had been sprayed with graffiti and shot with a gun. While scouting the area for an unrelated project I had past this stop sign numerous times in the days leading up to the Presidents announcement and for days after. Before the announcement the stop sign was untouched.
